Chief Operating Officer

Jeannelle Wallace has over 42 years of administrative and managerial experience in municipal government working for five (5) cities in Prince George’s County, Maryland. She is the former Director of the Youth and Family Services Bureau and City Manager for the City of Glenarden; Town Manager for the Town of Fairmount Heights; City Manager for the City of Mount Rainier; and Interim Town Administrator for the Town of Capitol Heights. Ms. Wallace currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer for the City of Seat Pleasant, serving in this capacity since August 2017. Ms. Wallace has been interviewed by WUSA 9 and NBC 4, served on former Governor Schafer’s Youth Violence Prevention Task Force, former speaker for the US Department of Labor Expo Convention, and has served on various Maryland Municipal League Committees.

The City of Seat Pleasant, A  Smart City of Excellence, shall provide quality and informative services to the residents and visitors that emulates “Smart City” initiatives, that empowers, enhances, and educates the community, and implements a government strategy that operates on data-driven decisions, and which engages in services, responses, and results that are better and faster, creating a “community for me” perspective through an internet of things.

 

Vision

The City of Seat Pleasant will be a model for other communities by engaging in projects and activities that enable its citizenry to become advocates for themselves and their neighbors by providing a network of information of available resources which supports their needs that includes but is not limited to, financial management, academic, health, and transportation support systems, as well as Federal, County, State, and Local assets in place that can help them to thrive.
