Seat Pleasant, a Smart City of Excellence, is collaborating with, a Maryland-based and globally recognized innovative population health firm to develop and deploy smart city-based solutions to advance public health.

This effort will bring together Seat Pleasant’s Smart City infrastructure and geospatial-based population health applications to launch measures improving the health outcomes of its residents. This effort is another major step towards’s goals of using geospatial tech to improve the delivery of high-quality healthcare, improve health outcomes and access – which will reduce costs both locally and across the entire healthcare system. The geospatial- based population health application, called the GeoHealth Platform, is a health-focused Spatial Data Infrastructure and represents the largest repository of health data in the world.
