Ashley Kearney is a transformational leader dedicated to advancing equity and driving impactful change.
With a strong background in advocacy, she has led city-wide coalitions and served as a Policy and Advocacy Fellow at the United Negro College Fund (UNCF) and as an Albert Einstein Distinguished Educator Fellow in the U.S. House of Representatives. Her work spans a wide range of critical issues that affect communities both locally and nationally.
Currently, Ashley is a member of the EdResearch for Action 2024-2025 Advisory Board and chairs the Education Excellence Committee as the First Vice President of the DC State Organization of the Delta Kappa Gamma International Society for Key Women Educators. Additionally, she is an active member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., contributing to the Education and Social Action Committees within her chapter.
Professionally, Ashley serves as a manager of school improvement. She holds a master’s degree in education from Johns Hopkins University, is certified in Agile Leadership for Organizations, and has pursued further studies in Program Evaluation at Georgetown University.
